Healing is a process-not a single event. A series of openings or pathways that lead to change, growth and balance.

My journey

In 1986 I became a Licensed Massage Therapist. As I worked with a wide variety of clients I began to have an awareness of something more...something beyond the physical matter of muscle, bone, and sinew. I now understand that something is Life Force Energy...which I percieve as light. I  soon took my first Reiki class and took off on a wonder-filled journey of self-discovery and self-healing that has fueled a passionate reverence for the light found within each of us.

I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and a Certified Quantum-Touch® Practitioner. I have studied Cranial Sacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and Healing Touch with the American Holistic Nurses Association and Healing Touch International. I was privledged to create the Touch Therapies Program for Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care in 1992 and spent three years there sharing in the transitional experiences of many souls. I continue to assist in transitional release for those at the end of their physical journey. I was fortunate to study with Peruvian Shaman Americo Yabar in 1995 and travel to the sacred sites of Greece and Egypt in 1996 with Lightworkers International. Both of these opportunities expanded my experience and love of energy medicine.

It has been a challenging, rewarding and joyous journey that has brought me to a place of gratitude, creativity, peace and great love in my life...and the journey continues as I learn and grow with each new day. I am filled with devotion to my spiritual path and sure of my purpose---to share information and light with others who are guided to grow in their divine light... together to create a lightgarden.

Lightgarden has taken on a new aspect in 2011--a weekly meditation group. In this group the seeds were planted to create a meditation CD and now that idea has taken root and blossomed into Lightgarden Meditations.

Our hands imbibe like roots, so I place them on what is beautiful in this world...and I fold them in prayer and they draw from the heavens light.
